About Clio
I have been writing, directing, shooting, and editing my own films for the past five years, funding my projects entirely out-of-pocket. Primarily a solo endeavor, I've been fortunate to collaborate with some incredible actors and other young filmmakers. Film has provided me a powerful medium through which I can authentically express myself. As I now immerse myself in university studies, I continue my exploration of film in tandem with the pursuit of my other passions, including French Literature, Environmental Sciences, Gender Equality, Philosophy, and cello. My goal as a filmmaker is to craft stories that transform and unite, finding the common thread of humanity that links people from all communities. Through my films, I aspire to contribute to positive social change by fostering greater compassion and understanding in our society. Filmmaking, as a universal language, has the potential to bridge cultural divides and communicate across boundaries, and I am committed to playing my part.
